This time last year we were given a presentation by a National Park Ranger on the fundamental function and importance of pollinators, in regards to food and the wider ecosystem. If they are missing we, as do all widelife, has restricted access to food which will have wide ranging implications to the environment and ecosystems.
We signed up to the Rotary Pollinator Pledge alongside ESRAG to support the “Operation Pollination” initiative: https://operationpollination.net/, a collaborative effort led by Rotary members to plant and restore the vital milkweed plant along the species’ migration route:
