This is a very exciting new venture and currently we are looking for people to join us in doing new Rotary. Rotary is a worldwide organisation of more than 1.2 million business, professional, and community leaders. Members of Rotary clubs, known as Rotarians, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Belonging to Rotary clubs gives men and women an enjoyable and organised way to make a contribution to their community. Rotary members meet weekly to plan service activities. By using their skills and expertise globally, members also enhance their professional network, career development, and cross-cultural understanding. The core essence of Rotary is a worldwide network of inspired individuals who translate their passions into relevant social causes to change lives in communities. Rotary e-clubs follow the same policies as all Rotary clubs. The key difference is that an eClub conducts its weekly meeting on the club’s website. Rather than being physically present at an appointed day and time, members may attend meetings at any time and any day of the week. For business, professional, and community leaders who are unable to attend a weekly meeting in person, the e-club option offers the opportunity to meet, conduct service projects, and participate in Rotary fellowship. Rotary District 1100 are exploring the possibility of starting a Rotary e-club.
