foodbankThe Swindon foodbank part of the Trussell Trust and one of our nominated charities this year is holding a Quiz Night  on Friday 20th September at the Trinity Centre in Westlea (Gateway Church) SN5 7DG.  It costs just £3.50 per person to enter the quiz and a further £3.50 per person for a Ploughman’s Buffet.  You can book your team in by email to office@swindofoodbank.co.uk.

 

Picture1Painless support for Foundation.  Please subscribe to our Foundation eDraw which is to be launched by the end of September.  All you have to do is invest £12 per year into the fund and stand to win on a monthly draw.  Half the income goes to meet our commitment to Foundation and to enable us to apply for matching grants for our projects.  The other half goes into the monthly prize so the more people join the better the result for everyone.  Contact our eFoundation officer David Pratt at davidpratt@ntlworld.com to register your interest.  Read more on the forum under Foundation projects.

 

Alson Cross JonesA warm welcome to Alison Cross Jones who was inducted into the eClub by President Janice on her recent visit to Malmesbury.  Alison runs HEALS which stands for help encouragement and local support. They work around four key strategic projects. Each of the projects aims to make a difference to lives and communities.HEALS is aiming to build a network of volunteer led, not-for-profit, community organisations and partners perfectly with Rotary ideals
